We have a LOT of Thai basil growing in our garden. And what do you do when you have a lot of any kind of basil? Naturally, you make pesto. So, we decided to experiment with some Thai basil pesto and let’s just say it went well.
So far, we have enjoyed it with sautéed scallops, tuna and soba noodles as a pasta dish. It is so refreshing and delicious. If you enjoy Thai flavors, you will LOVE this Thai basil pesto.

Thai Basil Pesto
A delicious pesto with a Thai twist.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp aminos
- 1 tsp fish sauce
- 2 cups loosely packed Thai basil
- 1 handful of mint leaves
- 1 handful of cilantro leaves
- juice of half of a lime
- 1 cup peanuts
- 1 small habanero (optional)
Instructions

Pulse all ingredients in a food processor or high powered blender until you reach the desired consistency

Serve warm or chill in the refrigerator to serve cold. Enjoy with sautéed scallops, tuna, soba or zucchini noodles or anything else that sounds yummy to you. Bon Appetit!
